Over 1.300 DVD captures from the extended Millennium mini-series have been added to the gallery. Since the trilogy was originally planned and shot for television, the mini-series features a lot more scenes than the theatrical versions. Each film is expanded to two episodes, making the series a 6 episodes delight of 9 hours. I’m working on a special section to highlight the extended scenes and notable differences between the film and tv versions, so stay tuned.
With many thanks to Laura, screencaptures of Noomi’s 2007 performance in “Daisy Diamond” have been added to the gallery. This performance not only marked a breakthrough in Noomi’s early career, it also won her the coveted Bodil and Robert Award in Sweden.´
A couple of production stills from the first two Millenium parts as well as Beyond have been added. Also, most of the Babycall production stills have been replaced in higher resolution.
Noomi is among the celebrities to grace this year’s Hollywood issue of Vanity Fair magazine. In a stunning pictorial, she is featured alongside Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal, James Franco, Ryan Reynolds, Anthony Mackie, Olivia Wilde, Mila Kunis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Andrew Garfield, Jesse Eisenberg, Jennifer Lawrence, Rashida Jones, Garrett Hedlund, and Robert Duvall. The cover was shot in Los Angeles and New York over the course of two days by photographer Norman Jean Roy, and, as evidenced by our behind-the-scenes video below, V.F.’s West Coast editor Krista Smith managed to nab nearly all of our cover subjects for sit-down interviews on set. All interviews, as well are more background on the cover can be found on Vanity Fair’s website – Noomi’s interview segment can be also watched in the video archive. Also, have a look at the first pictures in the gallery.
In 2006, Noomi played a kidnapper in the Swedish short subject “Enhällig beslut”. A meeting of top-level politicians in a European city, in a time that could be the present. Defence Minister Sandra finds herself trapped in her hotel room by a woman with a gun, and a tense period of waiting begins. But what are they waiting for? And will either of them get out of the room alive? Screencaptures have been added to the gallery – with additional production stills from other short subject films added as well. Enjoy!
I’ve sorted parts of the gallery pages of Noomi’s public appearances from 2007 to 2010 and have added quite a few additional pictures to various albums. You can launch all recently added pictures by clicking the previews below. Enjoy the new additions!
