UK fans make sure to grab your copy of the latest Empire Magazine, not only for a kick-ass cover story on Ridley Scott’s “Alien: Covenant” (no trace of Elizabeth Shaw) but also for a 4 page interview with Noomi Rapace featuring a stunning new editorial. A very interesting read. She talks a bit about preparing for each role with a new scent, confirms the upcoming collaboration with Ethan Hawke on “Stockholm”, and even a project that hasn’t been announced yet, about a female bodyguard. Digital scans have been added to the photo gallery.

We’re only weeks ago from the (hopefully extensive) promotion for “Unlocked”, and a first stunning new pictorial of Noomi will be released in next week’s Glass Magazine. She graces one of five covers for their “Goddess Issue” and is photographed by Hew Hood. You can get a glimpse below, make sure to grab your copy and visit their website.

“Unlocked” will be literally unlocked this May after being shelved for two years. I’m really excited for the reviews. In these new stills, Noomi is paired with the powerhouse ensemble of Michael Apted’s thriller – Michael Douglas, Toni Collette and Orlando Bloom. Click on any of the pictures to see all latest additions. Also, a new US poster for the film as well as the new poster for “Alien: Covenant” have been added. Edit: Four more production stills from “Unlocked” have been added with many thanks to Marinka for sending them in.

Better late then never, here’s an update on the February 26 free screening of the Oscar-winning “The Salesman” at Trafalgar Square, which Noomi attended. Celebrities, activists and film buffs have joined forces for a movie screening in Trafalgar Square in an impassioned protest against Donald Trump’s travel ban. Model Lily Cole is among Mariella Frostrup, director Mike Leigh and Blur frontman Damon Albarn at the UK premiere of The Salesman, which is up for best foreign language film at the Oscars. Asghar Farhadi, the drama’s Iranian director who won an Academy Award in 2012, is boycotting the star-studded event in California over Mr Trump’s travel ban, which bars people from seven Muslim-majority countries entering America. Lily Cole told the crowd of some 10,000 protesters Trump’s travel ban is ‘unnecessary in this day and age’ because cities like London are ‘wonderfully open’, and warned we may yet see ‘more ludicrous policies’. Khan took to the stage, and after a few microphone issues which prevented him being heard, declared to loud cheers: ‘President Trump can’t silence me.’

The BAFTA Awards are happening as we speak, and the first pictures of Noomi in an unconventional look on the red carpet have been added to the photo gallery. Edit: Hundreds of additional pictures from the arrivals, the show (Noomi presented the big award of the night, Best Film, together with Tom Hiddleston), press room and after-party have been added. Many many thanks to the wonderful Claudia and Lindsey for their contributions. Much appreciated.
