There’s still nothing happening at all, so we have to stay positive that Noomi is busing filming all of the recently announced movie projects – and rely on our archive to keep the updates going. Today, screencaptures from a variety of television and online interviews have been added to the photo gallery, among them “Journey’s End”, a 2013 tv series exploring the truth about the Icelandic Sagas, two appearances on the great conversation panel series “Build Series NYC” for “Close” and “Stockholm” in 2019 and high defintion screencaptures from her interview on Nyhetsmorgon in 2022 to promote “Black Crab”. Enjoy the new additions.

There’s still zero news or appearances on any of Noomi’s upcoming projects, so good news we’re still having plenty of material to add to the archives. This time we’ve gone back as far as 2009 – Noomi’s breakout year with “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. There are new pictures from various photocalls and premieres in Stockholm, Oslo and Smarabio, as well as appearances at the Guldbagge Awards and a taping of “Skavlan” to promote the theatrical release of “Beyond” in 2010. All updates can be found below. Enjoy.

With not many recent appearances, I’ve taken a deep dive into the archives for an update with additional public appearances pictures ranging from 2012 to 2016. It’s quite unbelievable that it’s been 13 years already since Noomi hit it big time in Hollywood with “Prometheus” (pictures from the international promotion tour have been added). Also added are pictures from the 2016 Formula One World Championship, which Noomi attended with director Michael Mann – at that time she was announced to star in Mann’s Enzo Ferrari biopic co-starring Christian Bale. He eventually made this film in 2023, but with Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz. A list of all updated albums can be found below.

Here comes a fantastic addition to the archives – one I did not think we’d ever see. In 2001, Noomi co-starred in a three-part miniseries called “Pusselbitar”, which marked her second on-screen appearance after the soap opera “Tre Kronor” in the late 1990s. “Pusselbitar” (meaning “puzzle pieces”) is an ensemble drama about the Swedish Hallberg family and their changing love lives. Their son, Joel, meets the girl of his dreams – a 21-year old Noomi Norén, still going by her birth name. But as so often, life has other plans for Joel. Noomi appeared in all three episodes of the series, although her scenes are rather brief. If you want to learn more about the series, have a look at the career pages with an episode guide. Screencaptures can be found in the photo gallery. Enjoy your weekend.

Lots of additional production stills from Noomi’s performances on film, television and theatre have been added to the photo gallery. Among the highlights is a wonderful new still from one of her earliest theatre performances in “Kameliendamen” at the Oriontheatern opposite Ola Rapace in 2000. New stills, on-set pictures from “Stockholm”, “Close”, “Django” and “Assassin Club” have been added as well. A full list can be found below. Enjoy.

With not much happening right now, some cool additions from the past have been added to the archives. There’s screencaptures and videos from two interviews at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival to promote the premiere of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, two press junket interviews from 2014 alongside director Michaël R. Roskam to promote “The Drop” and one additional 2021 interview in which Noomi and director Valdimar Jóhannsson talk about “Lamb”. The full list of albums and videos can be found below. Enjoy.

I’ve been able to re-upload screencaptures in better quality from two of Noomi’s earlier film appearances in Sweden – the thriller Blodsbröder from 2005, with a lot of famous Swedish faces at the beginning of their careers, and 2007’s Daisy Diamond. The latter proved to be the perfect acting showcase in the casting process for Lisbeth Salander – the film remains as bleak as it gets and is still difficult and at times unbearable to watch. Enjoy the new additions.

Happy New Year everybody. While we’re patiently waiting for Apple TV starting promotion for Noomi’s new television series “Constellation” next month, let’s move along in updating the site’s archives. Additional public appearances pictures from 2011 have been added to the photo gallery – an exciting year in Noomi’s career with her first international production “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”, critical success with “Babycall”, for which she won Best Actress at the Rome International Film Festival. For a complete list of all updates, have a look at the list below. Enjoy the new additions.

With nothing happening in the present, let’s take another deep dive into the past: Several articles and interviews from Icelandic outlets have been added, all covering Noomi’s breakthrough role with the “Millennium” trilogy and her move to Hollywood. Included are some great cover stories and rare pictures from that time. Enjoy the new addtions.

After having completed Noomi’s recent TV tenure on “Django”, I have spent some more time researching her previous tv work – which proves a difficult task since most of Noomi’s early work on Swedish television has never been released on DVD or has been shown outside of Sweden. But, I was successful in finding additional promotional stills for “Tre Kronor” and “Stora Teatern”, as well as screencaptures and videos from the 2007 drama series “Labyrint”, for which Noomi also participated in so-called mobisodes – short extras to the general episodes which were exclusively shown online. Those can be now found in the video archive, all courtesy cinematographer Alex Linden’s Vimeo page. All photo updates can be found below. Enjoy.
