Official synopsis: Lisbeth finds out she’s wanted by the police for the murder of her guardian, a woman and the woman’s boyfriend, a reporter writing an expose’ on sex trafficking for “Millenium”, but unknown to Lisbeth, she’s wanted by someone else as well.

Lisbeth’s romance on the Cayman Islands: The second book starts with Lisbeth enjoying her time on the Cayman Islands after fleeing the country with the Wennerstrom money and chronicles an affair between her and a young man named George. The romance and the Cayman Islands visit comes to an aprubt end after the death of Lisbeth’s mother. Most of these early chapters of the book are reduced to a few idyllic opening scenes before the actual story starts.

Lisbeth finds a new home at Fiskargatan: The first thing that Lisbeth does after achieving a spectacular sum of money at the end of the first novel is to buy a new home. Lisbeth moves into a luxurious home at Fiskargatan. In this funny scene, while checking the appartment, she is interrupted by a broker, telling her that this is out of her budget.

Taking care of Holger Palmgren: After Lisbeth learns from Dragan Armanskij that her former guardian Holger Palmgren did not die of his stroke but is alive, she pays him a visit in his nursing home. Since Palmgren is impaired due to his stroke, Lisbeth talks to one of his doctor’s and arranges a personal trainer for Palmgren.
