German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland has acquired a movie rights package from German film production and sales company Splendid Film. The multi-year agreement of which financial details have not been disclosed covers the exclusive pay-TV, pay-per-view and video-on-demand (VOD) rights for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Part of the package is the Noomi Rapace starrer “What Happened to Monday?”, which has been sold to Netflix as well and will be likely have its US premiere on demand as well. For any release, no date has been confirmed yet.
