Noomi Rapace, who stars in Guy Ritchie’s forthcoming film Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, will sympathise with the growing movement against “body art”. Although she played the title role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the Swedish actress tells Mandrake: “I tried to give myself a tattoo when I was younger using needles and ink. Thankfully, it didn’t work, though.” Speaking at the launch of the Vinyl Factory art gallery in west London, she adds: “I never went on to try and get a professional one and I am very glad of that.”
