Ridley Scott, who is currently promoting his latest movie “The Counsellor”, revealed that the screenplay for the “Prometheus” sequel is currently being developed. He said at the London press conference: “Prometheus is being written right now. Number two.” News on a follow-up for the 2012 sci-fi thriller have been quiet ever since the first film’s release. Earlier this year, Noomi Rapace told The Playlist that “they’re working on the script, [and] I met Ridley in London a couple of weeks ago”. Even Ridley’s statement at the press conference is rather brief, but at least it’s some new development so far. The clip from the conference can be watched here.
